Responsibilities
- • Responsible to monitor and supervise the Business Development division on tasks and KPI’s deliverables
- • To develop, plan and execute the strategic planning of an annual or long-term marketing plan to drive forward agreed company objectives
- • Responsible to plan, manage and execute promotional activities locally and targeting overseas countries.
- • Responsible to established networking with targeted countries Economic Counsellors/Attaché representatives in Malaysia
- • Responsible to conduct briefings to potential investors
- • Responsible to facilitate pre-investment processes with potential investors and assisting in all queries, issues, and requirements by the potential investors where possible
- • Responsible to establish and maintain relationships with relevant government agencies to gain cooperation and support as well as facilitating information and intelligence gathering
- • Familiar with all authority related submission and application procedures for all stages of investment processes
- • Securing yearly targeted potential investment value to PIPC
- • Conversion of potential investment into committed investment measured based on the numbers companies and realized investment value
- • Responsible to develop proposals for any new potential investments in PIPC
Requirements
- • Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree or equivalent.
- • Minimum 5 year(s) of related working experiences.
- • Able to write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- • High level of commitment and able to work independently
- • Proficient in Microsoft, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- • Willing to work in Johor Bahru

Manager, Business Intelligence
Investor Management
Responsibilities
- • Facilitate identification of industry opportunities, through comprehensive research on market development and industry trends, for the development of targeted sectors within PIPC. Contributes towards the development of appropriate strategic plans for sector/ subsector to facilitate the expansion of industries or investment interests in PIPC.
- • Conduct sector/ company analysis and key downstream oil and gas supply & demand to assess the suitability of targeted companies/clusters. Provide management with timely analysis on the economic climate, investment appetite, business environment, and trade policy of targeted companies/countries for strategy development and planning purposes in achieving IM’s KPI and JPDC objectives.
- • To perform analysis and provide in-depth, commercial insight relating to the oil and gas industry with an emphasis on analytical interpretation.
- • Provide support and coordinate business matching initiatives undertaken by the business development team.
- • To oversee department’s databases and to prepare to report paperwork (e.g., BOD, KPIs, monthly management meeting etc.)
- • Conduct studies and acquired timely or accurate data on current economy and industrial news.
- • To perform other relevant market study, background check, research and maintenance of IM Intelligence Database as required in a timely manner
- • To undertake engagement activities with industry stakeholders. To manage relationships with stakeholders including government authorities, related agencies and key industry players from time to time as a way to promote PIPC as an investment destination for the downstream industry to the local and foreign industry players, associations and chambers of commerce.
